IBPS RRB Eligible Criteria-2017

Candidates who wish to appear for IBPS CWE (RRB) must satisfy the following Eligibility Criteria in order to apply for the vacancies.

• Nationality: A Candidate for IBPS RRB must be a citizen of India, Bhutan or Nepal, a Tibetan Refugee, or a person of Indian roots who has migrated from Burma, Sri Lanka, Pakistan and a select group of East African countries as specified on the IBPS Official website, given that the above have a Certificate of Eligibility that has been issued to them by the Government of India.
• Age Limit: The age limit selection for IBPS RRB 2017 Officer Scale III the limit is between 21 years and 40 years, Officer Scale II-Above 21 years and Below 32 years, Officer Scale I-Above 18 years and Below 28 years and Office Assistant-Above 18 years and Below 28 years. Age Relaxation is additional 5 years for Schedule Cast as well as Schedule Tribes, additional 3 years for Other Backward Classes, additional 10 years for Disabled and also for other categories that will be updated on IBPS official website. 
• Education: For IBPS RRB 2017 education candidates must have completed their Graduation or its Equivalent from a recognized University in any course of study. It is essential that the candidate is proficient in the Local Language of the State/Union Territory in which the IBPS RRB is located and have Computer awareness. For Officer Scale, all and Officer Scale ll, a minimum of 50% marks in aggregate and preference will be given to candidates coming from a background in Banking, Finance, Agriculture, Horticulture, Animal Husbandry, Law, Economics, and Accountancy etc.

The general pattern followed for CWE IBPS RRB exams 2017 consists of the following topics, depending on the post applied for; these cover Reasoning, Numerical Ability or Quantitative Aptitude along with Data Interpretation, General Awareness and Financial Awareness, English Language, Hindi Language, Knowledge of computers as well as Professional Knowledge. The time structure is composed of 2hours and 30 minutes, except for Officer Scale-II (Specialist Cadre) exam which is for 3 hours. There is also Negative marking in this examination where a quarter of the marks are deducted for incorrect answers.
