NID 2018 known as National Institute of Design conducted in campuses campus Ahmedabad, Gandhinagar, Bangalore, NID Vijaywada & Kurukshetra 2018 offers a program for the candidates who are seeking for Bachelor of Design (BDes) and Master of Design (MDes). Candidates will get admission conducted NID on the basis of qualifying DAT (Design Aptitude Test) and to appear Studio Test and Interview round. NID 2018 Eligibility Criteria

For NID 2018 BDes 

•  For applying for NID age limits should be 20 (maximum) as on the year 2018.

• Candidates must have passed out or appearing class 12 in any discipline recognized board of India.

•  Reserved Category applicants (OBC, SC, ST & PH) Candidates born on or before July 1, 1995, are not eligible.

• Senior Secondary School Examination conducted by the National Institute of Open Schooling with a minimum of five subjects.

• Candidates who have passed out Class XII examination outside India or from a Board which is not specified should have to produce a certificate from the Association of Indian Universities with the effect of the examination candidate have passed is equivalent to the Class XII examination.

For NID 2018 MDes

•  Candidates must have the age limit of 30 years as on 2018.

• Candidates born before on or before July 1, 1987, are not eligible.

• Bachelor's of the degree in any discipline under the 10+2+4 (or more) from any university or institute recognized in India.

• Diploma in Design under the 10+2+4 system from any university or institute recognized in India.

NID 2018 Exam Pattern

• There is good news to all who are appearing NIT DAT test that there will be no negative marking while attempting the wrong answer to any question but appearing all the questions are compulsory whether written or aptitude.

• Exam will contain one question paper of 100 marks and duration of 3 hours and in 100 points paper 70 points (Section A) will contain Multiple choice questions (MCQ) having a marking of .05 to 4 marks each and 30 points (Section B)  has to appear as subjective type questions which contain ability to judge, creative based questions.

• Studio test will be followed by the personal interview round
