• S.B.I PO Candidates must have graduated or passed degree from a recognized university or any other equivalent courses recognized by the government of India.
• The age limit for appearing for the probationary officer’s post is of 21-30 years however, the age limit can be extended to a certain extent in the case of ST/SC/OBC/PWD candidates. For ST/SC, the age limit can be relaxed up to 5 years, for OBC up to 3 years and for PWD up to 15 years.

• S.B.I PO exam involves three phases.

• The first phase is a preliminary exam which mainly aims towards short listing only well-determined candidates.

• The second phase is the crucial exam where candidates eligible for the next interview round are selected.

• The third and final phase involves personal interviews for selection of candidates for the job.

•  The former two exams are computer-based and will be objective with multiple choice questions.
