The Union Public Service Commission is a central government agency which conducts different exams which help the candidate to do a job in government offices. All these exams which are conducted by UPSC are the toughest exam conducted in India with the success rate of 0.1%-0.3%. These UPSC exams have three steps of exams they are:
Step 1- Preliminary Test
Step 2- Main Test

All these UPSC reports are been submitted to President of India, as all work done in UPSC is first discussed to the President and later acted on that decision made. These exams are mostly conducted within the first 21 days of October. After that, all shortlisted students and candidates are called by UPSC in the month of March or April. Then the selected people are again called for the preliminary test, and these candidates are selected according to their aggregate marks given in personality test and this preliminary test is conducted in the month of May.

Union Public Service Commission has the major responsibility of conducting exams for the fields like railways, forest department, armed forces, postal services and much more. They select candidates according to the eligibility of candidates and the need of services from them. UPSC conducts many examinations all over India for different fields according to the eligibility. These exams are taken in 42 different centers in India. Recruitment by the selection of sub-norms is carried by either directly taking interview or by step by step taking exam followed by an interview. Recruitment is done by 3 methods: (1) Direct Recruitment (2) Promotion and (3) Transfer. Candidates must be degree holders or graduates to sit for this examination. Indian students having degrees from abroad need to have proof to guarantee that their degree is authorized or perceived by University Grants Commission (UGC). UPSC exams mostly refer to the posts of IAS, IPS and IRS and other government exams.

For Prelims contains 2 paper each of 200 marks each, pattern of multiple choice questions of objective type. Both papers combine and questions marks scores of 400 marks.
Paper 1 -General Studies contain 200 questions with 100 marks and duration of 2 hours.(M.C.Q).
Paper 2 -Aptitude contains 200 questions with 80 marks and duration of 2 hours.
